In this episode, I’m getting a few things off my chest as myself and Hannah muse about problems in games and ways that they can be avoided or dealt with.
Wriggling out of their graves eager to spread death and despair the Sons of Kyuss are a particularly unpleasant, infectious type of undead.Continue reading “The Sons of Kyuss”

I’ve made the decision to put the recent 2-page spreads I’ve made on my DrivethruRPG publisher account, accessible at the link below:
I’ve set them up with a suggested price of £0.50, but they’re pay want you want, you’re more than welcome to grab them for free, but if you fancy throwing me a few pennies, you can do so using DrivethruRPG.
The three I have done so far will still be available on the blog, however any future booklets I create will be put on DrivethruRPG and linked in the blog.
In this episode Hannah talks about Star Trek technology and the effects it could have on your RPG:

As some of you may be aware, I’m going to be starting an OSE game in the next month (session 0 scheduled for the week after next as of time of writing), the game is going to be loosely based on the Colonial America time period and set in a New World of sub-arctic temperatures (think Northern Canada). Amongst the various things I’ve been considering (rules for blackpowder firearms, hex-crawls, etc) I’ve also been thinking about coinage. I’d love to be able to have something a bit more flavourful in our game but don’t want it to make things too difficult for the players or to have to draw up new cost lists for things.Continue reading “Coinage in Our Smoke & Snow Game”
In this Friend or Foe Friday episode Hannah and myself discuss that most mystical and fabulous of creatures, the unicorn.
I’ve spoken in a couple of recent episodes of our podcast about the DT and Content Generation system that myself and Johannes Paavola adapted from Scum & Villainy for use in our ICRPG Midderlands game:
I wrote up the notes on this after our discussion in a form that I’ve been using for a couple of sessions in the Midderlands campaign, it’s not perfect but I wanted to share it here in-case anyone was interested:
You can see the sessions that we’ve played thus far using this system on our Youtube channel:
